ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ can provide SunPower Installers IQ7HS Microinverters for continuity of supply. The ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ7HS SKU is compatible with the SPWR-A5 microinverter SKU and approved by UL. SunPower Installers will also have access to our IQ8 Series Microinverters which are manufactured in the U.S. and have domestic content applicable for lease and PPA installations. Yes. ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ will honor the terms of the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ limited warranty for ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ products used in SunPower systems. For more information about ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ warranties, visit enphase.com/warranty/us.

SunPower Installers should first contact SunPower customer service to request an ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ microinverter RMA. If SunPower customer service is unavailable, follow the steps outlined below.

If you know which microinverter has failed, collect the information remotely:

  • Serial number
  • A picture of the input DC and output AC voltage from your SunPower cloud account
  • Error reported by the system
  • List of troubleshooting steps completed (e.g. breaker check, junction box inspection)

If you’re unsure which microinverter has failed, a site visit will be required:

  • Visit the site and locate the microinverter with a solid red LED
  • Take a picture of the microinverter serial number and LED status
  • Take measurements of the DC and AC voltage on the microinverter (a zero or very low DC voltage typically indicates a panel problem)
  • List of troubleshooting steps completed (e.g. breaker check, junction box inspection)

Send the information collected above, along with the following homeowner and installer details, to support_sunpower@enphase.com.

SunPower uses a monitoring platform different from ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ, so ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ is unable to provide immediate technical support. However, SunPower systems can be modified to communicate with ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ monitoring. This will provide you with 24x7 support directly from ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ.

Yes, panel-level monitoring using the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ App is available for systems with ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ Microinverters and the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Monitoring Kit.

To enable panel-level monitoring, an array map must be registered by ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ. Email care@enphase.com with the customer’s name, address, and the array map file with the serial number for each microinverter.

SunPower systems connect to a proprietary monitoring platform and the mySunPower app. Whether powered by ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ or not, SunPower systems can be modified to communicate with the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Monitoring Platform and the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ App by adding an IQ Gateway and current transformers to measure both production and consumption.

The installation of ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ monitoring requires additional programming and software updates that are best performed by an ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ field service technician. Additionally, ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ offers a one-year limited workmanship warranty on installation services when performed by an ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ field service technician. Contact us at spwrquery@enphaseenergy.com or 510-945-6752 for more information.

Yes, an ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Storage system includes a new ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ Gateway when you commission the new ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Storage system. Please call us to discuss upgrade options.
