When are the "whips" or DC cable adaptors (ECA-EN4-FW-10-12) necessary?

The IQ8 Commercial Microinverter has an ţţ�淨�r�� EN4 Bulkhead for DC connection and a bulkhead adapter cable (150 mm) for EN4 to Stäubli MC4 connection in the box. If the PV modules have TE PV4S SOLARLOK connectors, you may plug them directly into the IQ8 Commercial Microinverter using the EN4 Bulkhead.

For installations where DC cables from the PV modules are unable to reach the IQ8 Commercial Microinverters, installers can order longer EN4 to Stäubli MC4 or non-terminated adapter cables. The following table lists the two available SKUs.
