FAQs

We’re introducing these restrictions to help protect installers, distributors, and customers from issues that can come up when unauthorized products are used. These issues include warranty limitations, safety risks, compatibility concerns, or poor product quality.

An unauthorized product is one that’s been purchased from a seller not approved to sell in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. Such products may not meet local safety, grid, or warranty standards.

You can confirm this by checking the official distributor list or by contacting your ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ account manager.

If you’ve already purchased from an unauthorized source, we recommend contacting your account manager right away. They’ll guide you on the next steps and help you access compliant products for your installation.

You'll start seeing warning notifications in the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer App from April 1, 2025, for products purchased from unauthorized sources. Then, starting May 1, 2025, the app will block activation and commissioning of those products.

From April 1, 2025, the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer App will show a warning if you try to activate a product purchased from an unauthorized source in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. As of May 1, 2025, the app will block activation and commissioning of those products completely.

No. This update is designed to ensure authenticity, safety, and compliance, and it cannot be bypassed or overridden.

No, warranty and support are only available for products purchased from authorized sources. If a product was bought from an unauthorized seller, service may not be available in case of any issues.

In this case, warranty and support would not apply, and you would need to resolve the issue directly. To avoid this situation, we recommend purchasing only from ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ-authorized sources.

Using unauthorized products may result in safety or compliance issues, compatibility challenges, lower performance, or lack of warranty coverage. These problems can affect customer satisfaction and may impact your professional reputation.

Authorized products are tested and certified to meet all applicable electrical, safety, and grid compatibility standards in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

Distributors can protect their business by sourcing only from authorized channels, making sure their sales teams are well-informed, and clearly communicating with their installer network about the importance of using genuine ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ products.

These updates promote fair competition and transparency across the market. They also help authorized distributors provide quality, compliant products and build lasting trust with installers and customers.

You can find the entire list of authorized distributors in your region on the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ website.
