Critical updates
Please review the following critical hardware and software updates before starting an ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ System installation.
By installing new, higher-wattage panels with IQ8 Microinverters, installers can unlock the full potential of sites where IQ7 Microinverters have already been installed.
The IQ8 Microinverters can be added to IQ7 systems on the same IQ Gateway in Solar Only on-grid configurations.

Further details:
An additional IQ Gateway is not required when expanding an IQ7 Microinverter site with IQ8 Microinverters. An automatic software upgrade during commissioning of the newly added IQ8 Microinverters will ensure compatibility with the existing IQ7 Microinverters present at the site.
Commissioning of the new IQ8 Microinverters requires the latest ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer App (version 4.4.0 or higher) and IQ Gateway software version 8.2.4401 or higher.
To help ensure accuracy of energy data, we have started an initiative to correct outstanding meter issues across our fleet.
For any system that has consumption meters enabled but not physically installed on site, and is therefore not tracking any actual consumption information, those meters will be automatically disabled. The site’s consumption data will then stop appearing in the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ App.
Refer to the article on  for more details.
Note: ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ refers to consumption meters as Consumption Current Transformers, or Current CTs, and production meters as Production Current Transformers, or Production CTs.
In a few instances, production and consumption meters are inadvertently reversed at commissioning. Learn how to  from the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer Portal.
With the updated ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer Portal, you can send a site-access email to your customers in a few simple steps. This will help you reduce the time it takes to get your customers up, running, and enjoying their new ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ System.

If your company utilizes subcontractors that need access to the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Installer Portal to perform their work, you can now add their existing ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ Accounts to specific sites in your fleet with limited access. View the Authorized subcontractor section in the 22.2.0 release notes for .
