In this configuration, the IQ8 Series Microinverters operate in a grid-interactive mode. The system does not provide any backup and offers economic savings by using solar power to offset the customer’s consumption from the grid. Excess solar production can be exported back to the grid when allowed by the grid operator.

The high-powered ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ8 Series Microinverter dramatically simplifies the installation process while achieving high system efficiency. Part of the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ System, the IQ8 Series Microinverter integrates with the IQ Gateway and the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ App.
The ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ Gateway Metered is an integral component of the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ System that bridges communication between ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ IQ Microinverters located on the rooftop and the ţţÍæ·¨ÙrÂÊ App for remote control and monitoring.
IQ Relay acts as a grid monitoring and disconnection device and includes a built-in phase coupler to distribute power line communications (PLC) signals across phases.
